Being at Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo and working with young Congolese in a two week residency was definitely an experience I will never forget. We created two concert together on this year‘s festival theme „interval“ and performed in in two different places, one was a public space, just next to the big streets and the other a cultural space „Les académie des beaux arts“. 

I still don‘t know how to describe this big, loud and stressful city while you - in the middle of it - can find such lovely, warmhearted young people full of hope and dreams. Putting aside the cultural differences we have, we found all the similarities which connected us in our work together.
