A Performance on broken instruments. It was one of the most exceptional projects I‘ve ever did. Starting from collecting broken instruments from people in and around Munich who then lend us the instruments for the performance. 

Together with my students and composer Maya Dunietz, we‘ve startet to explore different sounds on this instruments and then slowly going into a process of trusting and listening to each other. 

The result was a very special half composition and half improvisation of around thirty minutes in which each individual can be heard as an individual, but which is still in full responsibility of the group. For me, one of the strongest symbol for today‘s society and which was indeed also the main intention of the performance. To create a moment of togetherness, humanity, collectivity in and with music.
