I’m so excited to premier my new concert format „DREAMS“ at Edinburgh International Festival  this August 7th, combining improvisations inspired by the dreams of the audience with Debussy’s piano piece „Rêverie“. 

As a classical trained pianist I was not used to improvise. So when I tried the first time, I felt the immense freedom while learning that there are no wrong notes and also to trust my own impulses in immediately turning them into music. Improvisation has now become an important part of my concert life, so that I’m so looking forward to really bringing it as the main part in this upcoming performance.
